About us

Hoot Reading is a marketplace that connects qualified teachers with emerging readers to practice reading aloud for 15 mins over video chat and shared screen. This short duration, one to one online tutoring model allows parents to feel confident their child is practicing reading quality content with a trained specialist. Sessions can take place over our Hoot Reading App in the comfort of their home. Our brand is targeting PARENTS and TEACHERS. For school age children in K - 3 reading is the most important skill to master. Teaching reading is complex as it involves several areas including print awareness, phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension. Practicing reading aloud every day is proven to help build success in these areas for all levels from struggling to above average readers. Even though parents know this, it can often be a difficult to prioritize every day and a challenge to keep it positive and productive.

Creative berry logo for math based apps

Designed this logo for developer creating math games in order to simplify learning math. His surname is Berry so naturally I played with berry theme and integrated abacus within to tie math aspect as well. Was really happy with results however client decided not to go with it as its to traditional approach as opposed to using modern ios and android apps.

Neat character logo

Here is one great logo I made for returning client and his martial arts kids school. Starting with catchy name which is written in customised hand lettering, I designed a logo with simple ninja character in three unique poses. Design is playful and will apeal to both parents and their children, I can't wait to see it on shirts and aparel :)
