Screaming Frog Productions
Formerly a Chicago theater and improvisation company, Screaming Frog has its roots creating original comedic works for the stage. Now in Los Angeles, SFP has transformed itself into a film production company.
Created by artists who believe that the best films are developed through passion and commitment, Screaming Frog surrounds itself with like-minded artists who love the art of filmmaking and understand the business side as well.
Screaming Frog values individual creativity and strives to foster innovative ideas.
Bottom line...We are a "scruffy" team of creatives that come together with people that we love to make films we are proud to share. Currently we make very low-budget/ no-budget films that have found a great deal of success. Our shorts have toured the world in over 250 film festivals and have received over 25 Awards.
Our strength comes from being a small production company that still has the ability to do films about what we want and how we want to do them. Our tagline has been, "Screaming Frog, the new home of cutting edge films."
We do mostly comedic shorts but have recently started doing dramatic short films and are gearing up for our first feature. So we are "cutting edge" but not anti-social. We are passionate people who want to share our work.
We are the underdog scrappers in the entertainment industry.

People who love film.
We currently make short comedic films that cut through a wide cross-section of demographics. I don't want to market to the "internet crowd". While we do make shorts for the internet, our goal is not to become the next internet sensation with the tween crowd.
If someone is scanning the internet for short films, I want them to see us and get excited to check it out. But I also want a design that can hold its own in a film festival program.
Our target audience is simply anyone who loves and respects short films.
I would like it to be eye-catching on various sizes. So the design can be used in letterhead, posters, billboards, etc but could be small enough to use on business cards, thumbnails, etc.
