We are a restaurant that serves asian food. We are known for Vietnamese Pho but also have a great variety of dishes from all across the Asian continent: Vietnamese, Thai, Laotian, Indoesian, Malaysian, Korean, Chinese and Japanese. Our main selling purpose is that we don't add MSG to our food. (flavor enhancer)

We want a strong contrast with the colors of redish-black-white (+orange,golden). I designed a logo myself before and it should contain the signature animal of a "red panda". It also should have asian characteristics so people associate right away asian food place. Our signature dish is a bowl of Pho. The idea behind my original logo is that the red panda is excited or "chasing" our bowl of pho and having the ying-yang shape combined. I really like that idea and would like to see better versions of it, maybe more abstract. But of course would appreciate different approaches/ideas also that has the main aspects within (animal red panda+asian acccents). Slogan is optional #1 update, note: I noticed that because of my brief and my own design scribbles that you are trying to go for rounded shape logos. I would also consider designs that have horizontal orientation. No must, but for creativity reasons - you are not bound to the round shape.
