twilliamsf got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Arizona College New Logo Design
Check out twilliamsf's Logo design contest…
We are College based in Arizona that offers post-secondary education for careers in healthcare. Our parent Arizona College is made up of 2 colleges: Arizona College of Nursing and Arizona College of Allied Health. The logos we would like you to concept on are for Arizona College of Nursing. We will version ourselves for the Arizona College and Arizona College of Allied Health brands. Arizona College of Nursing offers Bachelors Degrees in Nursing. The cost of the program is Approx $90k so the image we project needs to support and reinforce a high quality academic experience. 90% of our students are female with an average of around 28 years old. Many of our students are non-traditional students (working full-time, married, children at home, second careers, etc.). Arizona College of Allied Health targets a much different consumer. The target consumers are much younger and usually have not had the same level of success in school as our nursing students. The college offers certificate and diploma programs in Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assisting, Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing & Coding, and Massage Therapy. Growth in the future will likely come from the College of Nursing. That is why we are asking for logo concepts for this college. We also know from research that preference for the program increases with the emphasis of "of Nursing". Equal weight should be given in the concept to the entire name.
Other color requirements
Colors preferences are Blue and Yellow/Gold
Note that the current logo design is a seal. Typically colleges have a logo in addition to an academic seal. We are just looking for a logo at this time. In the simplest terms, Arizona College means access – access to a quality healthcare education; access the engaged faculty and academic resources personalized for your needs; access to opportunities, careers and professions where you can truly make a difference for patients, families, communities and yourself. Through our students, faculty and alumni, Arizona College represents access to quality healthcare for all. Achieving your goals requires vigilance, strength and determination – access alone is not enough. Like healthcare, quality education requires personalization and individuality. At Arizona College, we are committed to the unique needs and aspirations of each and every student. No mater what your circumstances, Arizona College is here to empower you to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. We are your catalyst for transformation… what form it takes is up to you. Versions of our current logo are attached. We have no attachment to this logo and are looking to establish a new image.
