Logo types to explore
Hello Design Gurus, At The Angus Oasis I am creating a "haven" for superior Red & Black Angus cows. Emphasis on "Pedigree, Power, Performance" (my slogan). I need a logo which conveys superior Angus…but in a very progressive and different way than the current cattle industry advertises or holds itself out to the public. I really like the idea of using a single powerful bull like the Merrill Lynch bull or iconic Wall Street bull (but no horns)...and colors red, black, white...the bull could even be half red, half black. ALSO...I like the idea of two powerful bulls with heads lowered toward the other...one bull red the other black. Then encirlced with an Oakley Sunglases type "0" to brand the "O" in Oasis. And........ I have placed great emphasis on acquiring some of the top Angus genetics in the world in an effort to create great Angus with Pedigree, Power, and Performance. Breeding cows for the "right" phenotype is kinda like be a judge at a bodybuilding contest or Miss America contest....bulls should look like Arnold Swarzenneger at his prime and female cows should look like a Miss America....you know it when you see it! So many cattlemen/ranchers/farmers take a "half-hearted" approach to their cattle. I seek to povide them great pedigreed cows with powerful phenotypes and performance on the ranch. As well, my father, who is a Veterinarian and oversees the cattle, takes great pride in providing high quality nutrition and care for our Angus cows....hence the name "Oasis"...like a haven....please no palm trees in logo. We have Red and Black Angus cows...hence the use of Red and Black colors in logo. Please use your creativity and take all the poetic license you desire. Professionally I am in finance, not farming. I have a passion for breeding great Red & Black Angus and really want to be "different", "better", and "progressive" in the world of Angus genetics.....and the logo should reflect as such. Good Luck and hopefully the narative helps. Please feel free to ask me questions or directions. Also, please be creative and WIN ! Thanks, David
