Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a artisan coffee company from San Diego that roasts and manufactures coffee beverages.
Due to San Diego's connection to the ocean and water, we are trying to incorporate a nautical theme into our logo.
We are looking to make the anchor iconic; very detailed and distinctive. We want to use this as our stand alone symbol and be a powerful message to our customers.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.

"Anchors Aweigh" means the ship is no longer anchored and is able to set sail and get underway. This is a metaphor for our company to be daring, bold and take action.
We approach our marketing and branding as an active lifestyle company. Our target audience is daring, adventure seeking and bold. I have attached one of our product's logo in order to keep the branding consistent, and some examples of the look of a modern anchor we are trying to capture.
Looking to keep a Blue (Cobalt or Navy) and Gold theme with black and white creatively added in. The anchor as the main symbol that is rugged, modern and bold. Since we will have multiple products, we would like to see different color background designs incorporated for the logo to assess future marketability.
Although we are a coffee company at heart, at this time we do not want to incorporate brown or coffee beans into the design because of our notion that our message is more than coffee, but coffee is our means to express our mission.
