ALLIGATORS NEEDED! Email validation service needs an ALLIGATOR-based logo

ALLIGATORS!

The name of the app is valigator. We'll be validating email addresses. It's a not-very-subtle pun on the word validate and alligator (in case you didn't get that :))

The logo should be simple, should involve an alligator and the @ sign.

In my head I have some initial ideas of an alligator coiled round an @ sign, or with the @ sign in the gator's mouth, or a cheeky little gator leaning on an @ sign giving a thumbs-up - but obviously I'm terrible at drawing so that will have to stay in my head and I'll rely on the good people here to help put together something that makes sense!

Logo should be simple and clear as it will be used primarily on websites and probably in a fairly small format. Given the alligator theme, I'd initially thought that green would be the best colour but open to other suggestions.

NB: please steer well clear of anything that looks anything like a Lacoste logo... I don't like the clothes, and I could do without a lawsuit :)

Ideally would like to have a logo with the name of the company next to it (i.e. separate), but again happy to consider designs that incorporate the name of the company.
