LATEST UPDATE - 01/03/2016
Thank you all, you are all great designers.
So here are my latest thoughts. I like designs with Akeso, the Goddess on it because it gives a persona to the brand. Spaced letters are also great, it gives a premium look to logos :-)
Hi everyone and thanks for joining our tea revolution! (BRIEF UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM // PLEASE READ)
We are looking for the best designer out there to help us brand our new tea company.
We're just starting out and there's plenty to do (a lot more designing gigs for you!).
But the logo is something we need to get right and this is where we need your expertise.
AKESO TEA is a monthly subscription tea business. Customers will get a box delivered to their home every month with 3/4 high-quality teas.
Offering the BEST quality tea from all around the world. Organic and Fairtrade when possible.
High end and high quality / Premium
Australia first (we're based in Melbourne), then the world :-)
People who drink tea daily and look for the best quality. Tea Fanatics/Lovers.
Why AKESO TEA?
AKESO was the goddess of healing (wounds) and curing (illness) (Greek Mythology).
Tea has many health properties, hence the choice to associate it with Akeso.
We want the logo to reflect the positioning of the brand as well as linking it to Akeso, the goddess. Maybe by choosing a font related to ancient Greece... It should be subtle though as the focus is the premium tea.
The logo should be classy and simple. 1-3 colors max. Not all green please, keep it classy.
This logo will be used on the website, labels and packaging of the product.
BUT we are open to any suggestions, you are the expert!
Thanks for reading and have fun designing! We are excited to see your ideas :-)
PS: Here are some of our competitors -
Thanks all. Still going through everything. I'm starting to get a better sense of what I want. Initially I was more for a minimalist approach but I'm getting seduced by the whole Greek card and may want to go for something more in that way. Something clearly Greek or Abstract. However not too heavy in the font. (no omegas, alphas...)
Do you think there's a nice way to integrate the Goddess in your design other than playing only with the font.
I'm thinking to take this move because the logo will be on the packaging and I do want something more elaborate than just a font. I want a WOW effect and I'm sure you can deliver it :-)
Thanks for all the creativity. Please have a look at the highest rated designs (NO COPY PLEASE). I still want it to be classy and premium though.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Have fun designing!
