Stitchcraft Mktg got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Agency needs emblem LOGO for Quilt shop passport program
Check out Stitchcraft Mktg's Logo design contest…
This logo is going to be used as an emblem/ stamp for a new quilt shop program. Customers visit a "sister shop" and get a stamp in their passport. We are looking for something with pastel colors. Client likes pink/ aqua. Target audience is older women 45+
Other color requirements
We're leaning towards pink/ aqua but want to see designs in pastel and bright happy colors
Deliverables needed: Logo which should translate to an avatar thumbnail design (ie, can be seen small OR some symbol of the logo we can use on social media); We also want two other deliverables: 1) a "style sheet" included in this contest. Something we can send to the quilt shops so THEY can make their own passport stamp that tells them fonts/ colors to use. We will offer an additional $100 payment to receive an editable template that can be used by the shops to create their own stamp. Should be in Word since that is used by most people. PLEASE use free fonts readily available. Cartoon type designs are OK but don't make it too cutesy. This is for QUILT SHOPS so no yarn balls! Client prefers serif fonts but must be easy to read since our target market is older women (who wear glasses!) Stitchcraft Marketing is the agency running this contest. We communicate with the client and provide daily feedback every morning (Mtn standard time) including weekends. We have run many successful contests and have experience on 99designs.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
Creed has done a wonderful job with my brand identity and I'm so pleased with the outcome. When I set the contest I didn't know what to expect but Creed submitted a couple of great designs which made it to my final phase. I ended up with something that was far better than anything I expected to get. Also throughout the process I have to say that the communication was excellent, Creed was always responsive and also intuitive to my requests, knowing that sometimes what I asked for might have contradicted my original brief. I felt that Creed had an eye on what I really wanted to achieve and offered me many options along the way. In the end I took a long time to choose a specific colour but Creed was always patient and provided lots of information to help with my decision. I'm incredibly grateful and would have no hesitation in recommending Creed.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
