I'm looking for a logo that's cool & creative and really makes people say "Wow - cool logo!" I have a successful ad agency but an old tired logo so get your creative juices flowing! I left the corporate world 4 years ago to run this successful company on my own and from the comfort of my own home and sometimes my pajamas! It should be creative and fun, but professional at the same time. My business targets are multi-million dollar companies, not small businesses. I want a logo that will reflect creativity, but nothing so overly creative that it's just plain silly. I get clients based on my professional abilities and reputation, but I've kept them for over a decade based on my "keep it real" personality. If you can design something that fits my needs, maybe you can help me figure out a tattoo sometime down the road - just kidding....sort of.
About my business:
I write copy and place print ads & web ads for my clients promoting employment opportunities within their organizations. My largest clients are healthcare focused, but I have many other clients in the information technology, manufacturing and education fields. My contacts are all human resources managers that call on me to place their ads in appropriate media sources - newspapers, magazines, internet, etc.
My current logo is just a feminine font with the words "Ad Studio" in purple. I don't think people get the connection when they see the logo basically because there isn't one. The positions I assist my clients with are very difficult to fill "niche" positions. If I pursue new business, I'd like my contact to look at my logo and perceive my business to be forward-thinking and problem-solving...if you can do that with a logo. I want them to look at it and have it make an impact on them so they would be open to allowing me to manage their creative needs in print as well.
My largest competitors are huge corporate ad agencies and they often ask me how I manage to land such great accounts. I need a logo that reflects the status of they types of clients I have and focuses less on the fact that I'm doing it from the comfort of my own home.
