Great designer to work with. Was engaged, polite, cooperative and took extra steps to be a standout in the Design Contest . I am happy with my logo.
Keep it up!
- Chandra Vasireddi
Excellent work! Our pleasure to do business with... Thank you!
Awesome to work with. Responds well to suggestions and critique. Went above and beyond in his approach.
- Square on Hypotenuse
Square on Hypotenuse was an incredibly helpful designer. The design work was strong, and responsiveness to revisions was exceptional. We asked for numerous tweaks and changes to his work as we progressed toward the final product, and this designer met all of our specifications along the way. A wonderful artist to work with if you have the opportunity!
Great design and very accommodating with changes.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
SAGE Academic Editing provides a comprehensive editing service for academics. We edit research grant proposals, theses, manuscripts, annual reports, strategic plans and other business documents. We typically work with university academics and students. Our goal is to deliver excellence.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
I would like to see the colour sage in my logo. Also, I like earthy, modern tones, inspired by nature (the earth, ocean and vegetation) but in saying that orange is my favourite colour. I started with orange in my branding but after moving to the names, SAGE, I decided that the colour SAGE seemed natural.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
This one reminds me of food label.
I think this one is simple but too formal for me.
I like the symmetry and the simple and elegant design
This is too playful for my needs.
Classic but not for me. Needs more depth of colour.
Too curvy. Not suited to my business.
Clever, but I don't want a black one.
SAGE to me means various things which work well in my company. SAGE is a herb with bluish grey leaves. I would like this colour to feature in the design. SAGE also means wise, knowledgeable and scholarly, themes which are central to my business.
Academic Editing defines my business. As the acronym - AE- this resonates with professional accreditation. For example I am an Institute for Professional Editors Accredited Editor.
Although I like earthy tones inspired by nature, I would not like to see leaves or trees in my logo, because I feel that these themes resonate with plant affiliated businesses. I would also not like to see any images reflective of people as my business is about words and communication, and polishing documents to be the flawless
The logo should appeal to both academic women and men, from professors to research students, and located in Australia and abroad. This business is international.
