A division of the University of San Diego, 'SDSC' (San Diego SuperComputer Center), please read this input from my client (though the logo you're designing is ONLY for the umbrella 'Sherlock' brand. "The logo/design needs to represent the broader range of 'Sherlock', though our apps/services include:
a. Sherlock: Cloud – a secure managed cloud hosting service for projects and institutions
b. Sherlock: Workflow Management – Our workflow management system applied to tracking analysis and audits
c. Sherlock: Provider Risk Management – A tool that scores providers and assigns a ‘risk score’ much like a FICO score and explains why providers are risky or safe
d. Sherlock: Beneficiary Risk Management – Same as above but for patients
e. Sherlock: Prepayment Analytics – Applying the risk scoring to real-time claims, allowing a state to hold a claim for review vs. pay and chase fraudsters.
We are not 'Sherlock', but we build and operate it. We also support more custom project needs as our skills are applicable, more like a consulting organization. How do we capture this capability as we market ourselves online through a new logo and business cards, etc.?

Even though turning the letter "O" in the name into a magnifying glass seems obvious (and not to be neglected), I'd like thinking outside this "box". Even though this is an educational institution, their prospective clients are both GOVERNMENT (like Medicaid) and for-profit clients, so we'd like it to have a sophistication in "look and feel" not normally found in Education clients. Thanks!
