Glasshopper is a multi-sided platform, with two interdependent customer segments:
- Wine Lovers: Individuals who want to discover wineries and make tasting reservations online
- Wineries: That want to generate more business from consumers
The more winery selection we offer to wine lovers, the more wine lovers use the system. The more wine lovers use the system, the more value we offer to wineries.
Target Audience -- Wine enthusiasts and wine curious. We want to help people going on their first tasting to the winery veteran. As this will be a digital channel (web and app), the audience will skew younger and more affluent - 28 - 45 yrs old. Early adapters with be based in the Bay Area. But should have international appeal. Tourists will also be able to use when visiting wine country.
