Joel designed a thoughtful, and very high quality design on the first go. He was very patient through the revisions which required him to explore a different direction. In the end we went with his original design which is testament to his talent. Thanks!

Parabola aims to disrupt personal finance with a B2B2C business model. Parabola is at the forefront of financial wellness and works with employers to implement its financial fitness program with employees. By having the employee enter in all of their existing bank/debt/retirement account information (the average adult has 16 accounts), Parabola takes your spending patterns and automatically analyzes them over time. Rome wasn't built in a day, and financial freedom isn't attained overnight either. Parabola automatically pushes suggestions to the user and offers encouragement both when a user is exceeding their historical spending averages in a category and congratulates a user when they underspend in a category. Parabola aims to make small, incremental, and sustainable changes over several months to help get the user in financial shape in order to meet their personal financial goals. From debt management to investing for your retirement, Parabola handles all your personal finance needs.
Why do employers care? 76% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. 46% of Americans have less than $800 saved for an emergency. 31% of Americans have no retirement savings. 24% of employees report that issues with personal finances have been a distraction at work. 39% of employees say they spend three hours or more per week thinking about or dealing with issues related to their personal finances. Lower financial stress for employees means fewer health issues. Fewer health issues mean a lower healthcare cost to employers and increased job satisfaction and job productivity from employees.
Bottom line: financially fit employees directly impact an employer's bottom line by reducing health care costs and increasing productivity by empowering employees to take control of their future.

I'm looking for an actual parabola shape to be included in the logo. The Arthur Ravenel bridge (company is based in Charleston, SC) might make for a subtle parabola in the background if possible, but I would like to see design options with a parabola and with the bridge.
