The following three photos I attached are just a few samples of my work. I took these photos last week throughout Oregon. They are not to be used in the logo really - just to show some of what I do.
The other examples are what I found on the web to show some of what I like and why:
June Card: color palette, different text/font, some of it bold/not, a little playful, unique
Jennifer: like look/texture of the font (seems original/interesting); the tree is okay; I'd like some color
Marcos Felipe: I'm surprised I like this so much, but it is different, unique and bold; it is a little too loud for what I'm looking for, but I do like it. The black/yellow isn't so bad, but I think I would want a softer palette.
The image with lots of designs: I like the Jennifer Marrion and Belle Anabelle design: Marrion for the color palette, that it is in a blocked design and is unique in a classical way but not too much detail; I also like the font; the belle annabelle one is also interesting - I like the font and the lower case, the brown is okay
***Caffe Moak: This design is just cool: I love the color palette, it is unique, original, different, catches my eye ( I don't know if in the design world it is unique/original but I like it); It works well for the business card shown. I like the abstract design and when I looked online for examples or similar ones did now show up like many others.
Hunter Sprague: This one is also cool. It is unique, trendy, catches the eye and I like the font, don't necessarily mind that it is all black/white but wouldn't mind some color.
Jasper: I like this because it is simple, bold, and I like the text/font. It is totally different from the reasons why I like Caffe Moak and Hunter (which is why I could be troubling designers - I am sorry!) ... It is the lawyer v. photographer in me
Clayton: I like the color palette (black/blue/white); It is simple/sleek and somewhat interesting
**Finessence: I like the pattern on this business card - I really want an abstract pattern (this will probably come in the later stages for the bus card) but I want some abstract pattern of something on my card. I also like the color palette. I think I like the teals, blues, yellows, oranges, gray
Sara Morris: This is simple and more playful, but I like the playful feel and the font of it. I'd want some color but I think it works well as a photog logo
**John Charles: I really like this logo; I like the black, orange, yellow, white color palette; I like the font - also how it fades in and out of light/dark/boldness; I like the different bold background other than white; and I like the logo of his initials
Fresh: I think this is unique, interesting and original; I like the image, it makes me smile and I like the orange shades of color a lot
Jamie Calder: There isn't much of a logo here on this business card other than the initials in the background, but I like the orange/gray/neutral tones and the I also like the font of the card - it's professional but still somewhat playful
Ana photography: I like the slanted logo on the business card, the yellow/orange/gray color palette and colored edges, and the texture of what it looks like.
Clint: I feel a theme going - I also like the gray/yellow color palette, the blocked look of the logo, the simple/sleek look of it
Amiely: I like this logo for a photog - it is playful, I like the text, I like the color palette and how some parts are in bold - it makes me smile which I want to make people do with my photos :)
Lines: For some reason this stuck out to me just because it is unique and different and original - I like it a lot because I'm looking for some abstract design on the back of my business card - whether that is incorporated into the logo design is completely an option right now. I'm open to suggestions.
**Kirk Smith: I like this card a lot also and I'm somewhat surprised b/c it is only in black/white/gray. It is simple, sleek, cool looking and professional. I'm wondering what something different (totally original of course) would look like in a yellow or orange tones with gray or neutral tones look like that with my business name in it.
Peter Ivancak: I think this is unique - I like how they did the dots with "pi" in lowercase. It makes it interesting an b/c of that, I don't mind the black/white.
**Lachlan Burrell: Unique, original design before the name; I like the font/typeface - it is interesting, and I like the color palette
BCP: This is one where I don't mind an image of a camera being used - is is discrete, not obvious and more abstract
The orange one: just makes me happy - like the colors and is more unique
Hope these suggestions on what I like help.
