Our clients are mainly other doctors in the hospital. Ideally I want a simple, clear logo, that focuses on the group's name and what we do. A discrete picture in the background would be nice. My thought is to use the ringed form of how malaria looks in the blood. I have included a .jpg with 2 malaria rings in a red blood cell, and also one with multiple drawn forms of malaria, the ring form is in the upper right hand corner in the second image. I am open to other ideas. I prefer to keep it simple and elegant, the malaria parasite (you can do a google image search for plasmodium to see different examples) is basically a ring with a one big dot. One idea is to make a ring in the form of a malaria parasite around the initials of our name: DID. Our web domain is diabloid.com.
If you do a Google image search for "infectious disease logo" you will see some examples of other logos, not all are applicable (some are for societies and some for veterinarians); keep in mind, we are specialist doctors treating people. Our source of patients is other doctors.
We will also use these logos in black and white on letterhead, and envelops.
Thank you for your efforts.
