I have attached files showing the way I currently use my logo. Not completely happy with existing but don't have time to learn enough to get something I like and represents a design based business well enough. I like the concepts behind it though(See description below) and would like a design that says something about the elements that I work with or the process from concept development to construction.- need not include the same colours, layout or form as I have used though. I would also be interested in seeing designs along the same concept as the leeds art gallery logo as this combines the concept of the solid constructed form and the sketchy concept line or something that looks carefully designed and detailed. Could involve straight lines or organic shapes or a combination of both
My job involves the design of anything outdoors. My practice is design led and contemporary and prides itself on knowing how things are built. The majority of my work involves the sensitive integration of plants, water, buildings, paving, street furniture, roads etc I would like my logo to reflect this. You will see from the one that I am currently using that I've overlaid the green over the blue over the spark of colour (to symbolise the creative process and the other elements listed above not included in the green and blue) I Don't want to be too literal with flowers and trees however unless they are heavily abstract - I really recommend having a flick through my website to get an idea of what I do (address below) Most other landscape architects logos are bad. I have attached some of the the better ones above for your information.
On my business card, I would like the opportunity to use with or without a photo of my work. (See CTR business card above)
The logo also needs to fit into http://www.reshaped.uk.com although I would rather get it right if this is causing a problem
Thanks, look forward to working with you
PS, I've had some good designs on brief submitted, Id really like to make the final a three horse race ideas that I agonise over as they are all so different but equally good. I have had a lot of submissions based on the logo I worked on my self below, which is great but I would now like to see how the text above could be interpreted if you don't look at the attachments below first. (I've left them attached so you can see them half way through the process if you wish)
