Kids' Nutritionist and Real Food Educator
Medical & Pharmaceutical
I am a (budding!) Holistic Nutritionist, specializing in infant and child nutrition. I am in the process of launching my consulting business and I need a great logo to incorporate into my website, as well as a business card featuring the logo. My passion is educating kids about Real Food early on in life in order to promote optimum long term health. I currently run a blog (http://www.kidsheartrealfood.com) which will give you a bit of an idea of where my passions lie, but I want my business logo to represent me as a professional nutritionist as I will be doing consulting as well. Target audience is moms as I will be working mostly with kids. I do work with adults as well though, so the look and feel should not be entirely juvenile.
Other color requirements
I tend to be drawn to bright pastels? Like in the "Joyous Health" and "Niblet Blog" logos above. Calming yet fun! However, I'm open to anything (except something entirely made up of bright reds, oranges, yellows)
The logo should be my name, with my title underneath or beside in smaller letters. I envision some sort of graphic element incorporated as part of my logo (similar to all the examples I gave). In my case, it should be something food or nutrition related...ideally vegetables or fruit? Or even something garden related - leaves, herbs? I would like the font to be fun and appealing and cute but not too "juvenile". Maybe cursive? Maybe not? Perhaps two different fonts incorporated into the logo. It needs to appeal to adults but in a fun way. I had started to work with another designer but she had to pull out of the project. I've attached a document (Patterns and Flags) of some fonts, colours, themes she was working on. I think it was going in the right direction but I think it needs to be a bit more complex. My mission is "helping kids develop a healthy relationship with real food" - not sure if that helps. I'm also hoping to find a designer to work on for future graphic projects - handouts, flyers, FB page etc. The other picture I've attached below (can) is an example of some of the colours that might be nice!
