Wild Angus is the name of the business. “Wild” meaning free range grass fed beef (not crazy or out of control) “Angus” is a specific breed of beef cattle.

Located in the western slopes of NSW the Wild Angus Farm runs a sustainable herd of 100% pure breed registered Angus cows. The Wild Angus farm is located on the flood plains of the Lachlan River between the towns of Forbes and Condobolin.
As the farmers we are able to guarantee that all the meat supplied by us is born and raised on the property – only animals raised by us are sold in our meat packs. The animals are ethically raised in an open free range environment where they are able to roam and graze on native and improved pasture. Our Angus cattle are not fed any grain (or feeds containing grain) and are certified pasture fed beef.
Nothing but the best - the cattle are EU certified (A certification confirming our animals are free from growth prominent allowing us to export to certain markets). We are also Pasturefed (grass-fed) Certified and use no growth promoters or Antibiotics in the beef we sell. Cattle feast on pasture’s improved with a mix of native grasses, fescue, clovers and Lucerne in an environment as natural and as sustainable as possible.
Bred for the B3 Japanese export market the herd carries the award winning Te Mania Angus blood line whose beef is known for its high marbling and full flavour (Wagyu or Kobie beef are also known for their marbling). The great thing about Wild Angus beef is that even though the meat is heavily marbled with intramuscular fat, this type of fat is of the ‘good’ or unsaturated kind.
Our herd is reasonably small which limits over grazing and our goal has been to run a sustainable (both economically and environmentally) beef farm. We take responsibility of our livestock and the land we farm very seriously and are continually looking for improvement.
Direct from the farm to households. We deliver quality beef packs (usually bulk packs) to restaurants, boutique butchers and households and sometimes sell at Farmers markets. Focusing on quality at an affordable price our meat packs contain a range of beef cuts ensuring all of the meat cuts are used and not wasted.
As a true Paddock to plate producer, we are able to provide certainty to consumers that their meat has been ethically raised and butchered by a local Australian farmer. We take orders in advance and only butcher when we have enough orders – this ensures the freshest product and delivery to Sydney.
