I need a great logo and business card design to help fix puppy hearts!!

This is a business that performs mobile heart ultrasounds and treatment on dogs and cats by a veterinary cardiologist. I will go into general practice veterinary clinics and perform the testing there. The target audience is professional general practice veterinarians and pet owners. This is a higher-end/specialty service.

I would like to have a heart, an ECG, and a dog and cat within the logo. Any of the elements can comprise another (like the dog and cat can be within or even make up the heart)and I like negative space potentially be used to represent one or both animals. Also if you would like to try a design using SEVC and the slogan "Southeast Veterinary Cardiology", I would be interested in seeing that too; otherwise feel free to use just the full name in the logo. My initial ideal colors are red/dark grey or black or orange/dark grey or black, but I am open to anything else you think might work and looks good. I have included an ECG picture to give you an idea of what I want that element to look like, feel free to smooth out the lines but keep the waveforms similar to the picture if possible. Use the heart beat in the yellow circle for template- but can make it into multiple heart beats if it works better in the image. The business cards, I'm open to what you think looks good. Initially I'm thinking something with a dark background (dark grey). Logo just on front; with contact info on back.
