How nsskog started their logo & business card journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a portrait and live music photographer. I do headshots and portraits for professionals, actors and bands in the Northern New Jersey (close to New York City).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors. I am open to designers exploring other options but am less interested in hotter colors (reds, pinks, oranges). I like the use of black in the logos so black or some use of grey is likely to get the best feedback.
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I am looking for a fairly simple and clean design that catches the eye but is not overly flashy. I want something that defines me as a professional in my space and will help ensure the people I hand them out to remember me and my business.
I am still building a website so there isn't much there to see. Please take a look at my instagram to see some of my pictures if that helps you - https://www.instagram.com/nickskog/
The colors I picked (greens, blues and dark neutrals) do not all have to be used in this design.
Please feel free to message me with any questions or further information that would aid you in designing this!
Here is a little more about the business name:
The Palisades are a stretch of cliffs in New Jersey that overlooking the Hudson River and New York City. They are a prominent element in the area of New Jersey where I live and work - thus Palisade Photography. Palisade also means a defensive wall made of tree trunks which might be interesting from a design perspective - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palisade
