Straight did an excellent job. He captured the essence of the briefing immediately in a way that is both modern and classic at the same time. Throughout the process, he was always available and very quick to respond (despite the time zone differences). It was a pleasure to work with him.

UBUNTOO is a Social Impact Marketplace.
Imagine Kickstarter, but focused on social and environmental issues. On the Ubuntoo platform social entrepreneurs, NGOs, researchers and large organizations will be connected to each other to collaborate on the world's most important issues.
For decades, the world of social impact has been dominated by large organizations (big governments x big NGOs x big corporations) and focused on (often patronizing forms of) charity. This has started to change over the past couple of years, with models that give much more empowerment to local enterprise and prioritize trade over aid.
With the Ubuntoo platform, we want to give a stronger voice to a new groundswell of empowered and tech-savvy social entrepreneurs around the world and connect them to other key stakeholders.

Mabe we can write the last 2 "O"s of UBUNTOO in a way that links it to the circular economy; the letter 8 etc.
UBUNTOO is derived from an African term "ubuntu" which means "I am what I am because of who we all are". It is a deep philosophical concept in Africa and has been popularized by the likes of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ubuntu_philosophy)
Ideally, our design captures the essence of this age-old philosophy, but in a very contemporary way.
Optional Idea: what if we wrote the last 2 "O"s close to each other. Since we are working on a platform for social & environmental impact, it could be a nice link to circular economy; the letter 8 (which is very meaningful in places like China) etc.
