Don't pay attention to the branding in the deck. I came up with the logo because I needed one. I'm not a designer (duh). Do pay attention to the personality of the brand. It should be smart, quick to adapt, almost academic but with a creative flare. Use or don't use the slogan. It's not crazy-important. A couple of things that I've thought of when thinking of this brand are the logos of bottlerocketapps.com and revunit.com, the shockwave/ripples that happen when breaking the sound barrier, eastern block military style, and the script font used on old cars like the Bel Air (image search -> http://bit.ly/XiBjL3). Not all of those thoughts coincide, just different directions I've thought about taking the visual brand.
