NESP got their new logo & business card by running a design contest:
Create a logo that talks to someone who can't - New England Speech Pathology
Check out NESP's Logo & business card contest…
We are a small private Speech Pathology service in the Australian New England area. We provide speech, language and stuttering therapy (mainly) to children ((mainly) and adults who have difficulty communicating. My target is families in the local area and up to 150km from my base in Inverell. We are seen as a private health service in Australia, though we do a lot of work in schools as well. We are seen as specialists in Autism therapy in our area.
Other color requirements
Green but bright. Can have up to three complimentary colours. Can include gold leaf colouring in logo.
I have attached my current logo that I have been happy with for the past 5 years. I had two trial logos from a local firm that just don't do it for me. One was based on speech bubbles and the other a variation on my current design. Neither was bright enough or original enough for me. Please use modern print fonts as many of my clients have reading difficulties and cannot read script fonts. Please do not use all caps in the name. You can use CAPITALS in part of the name but not all of it. I'm leaning towards NEW ENGLAND in capitals and Speech Pathology in lowercase or vice versa. I like the idea of concentric circles to denote sound waves and circles of caring for my clients. However, I am open to any other ideas. No child figures, though indistinct figures might be OK. Please remember my business relates to good communication skills.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo & business card starts at $449.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
I always walk away with a logo that I am more than happy with, that aligns completely with my brand- the most stress-free designer I’ve worked with. She listens and really works with my visions. 5 stars!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
