Business & Consulting
We are sourcing (meaning "scouting/finding") and vetting (meaning "testing the potential") of innovative technology and talent to enable foundations, family offices and other entities to place philanthropic and venture (=startup) investments in the biotech space (specifically tumor immunology and microbiome research). These projects will all have the aim of leaving a long lasting legacy behind, such as deveoping breakthrough drugs and sustainable energy. We will also have to appeal to startups and entrepreneurs, so our brand will need to represent something "fresh". We also want to represent a consulting company of the "new millenial" generation, so we'd like to stand out from "classical financial" companies.
"Arven" has 3 meaning to us: 1) it means "the legacy" in Norwedian and Swedish 2) it is the name of a wood that is know for inducing health benefits: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinus_cembra 3) arVen: ven will be representatives of ventures All 3 of these aspects should come out of the logo.
