How Tommy'sGal started their logo & business card journey
Who are you known as?
Kelley Norcia Photography
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a family documentary photographer specializing in capturing the connection between families and their pets. My target audience could be families with children, single working adults, couples with a pet. I photograph the moments through the day as I spend up to 4-5 hrs with a family. Gaining their trust is important as I am in their home and their space as they interact with each other and their pets. I also offer some of that session as more posed portraits but the emphasis is on the documentary style photography as you can see on my website: http://www.kelleynorcia.com. Please visit the site to take a look at the types of photography I do. I like logos that are clean and readable. Fonts that are simple and clean. I love the font Julius Sans One but am open to others.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Other color requirements
You can see the colors I have selected on my website but I don't like the pink. It reminds me of babies and girls. I like grey, blues, aquas, greens, maybe yellow if done right and not too loud. The background on my site will stay white, so something that will stand out from white is good but elegant and timeless. I want the logo to stand the test of time and not be "in the moment right now". I also want my logo to be able to be a watermark on my pictures if I want it to be.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I am open to lots of different ideas. Sometimes I don't know what I like until I see it, so be creative. I will be giving feedback as we go as things I like or don't like present themselves. Thanks!
