Hello Designers, I am an experienced owner in the dating business and I am preparing a new brand called "Rose" which will be launched in a few months from now. This app will have millions of users so it is an exciting opportunity for any designer to design the logo and brand guideline for a brand that will be seen by a lot of people. For this project, I encourage you to be creative, think outside the box, and create something meaningful, passionate, and unique. I'm looking for an attention grabbing icon that is BOLD, UNIQUE, AND CREATIVE! Please try to "think outside the box" and let your creativity run wild! About Rose Rose is a dating app for iOS / Android targeting people looking for serious relationships. Unlike other dating apps, Rose is not for hookups, but rather for finding genuine connections and real relationships. In the app, users send each other a Rose if they are interested in meeting. If both users send each other a Rose, a match is created and the conversation is started. Main Competitors - Hinge - Match.com - Bumble - Tinder About the Brand Rose is the modern way for people to find love. We help people around the world find genuine connections, real relationships, and life time partners. Our target market is mostly young people under the age of 30, however it's important the brand appeals to a more mature audience as well. The brand should have wide appeal and be welcoming to all ages and genders. Brand Personality Keywords - Modern - Passionate - Welcoming - Energetic - Authentic - Romantic - Mature - Unique The brand tone should be "welcoming" and "fun" but still slightly more "classy" and "mature" than some dating apps such as Tinder. Tinder has an "arcade" or "juvenile" tone that should be avoided. Tinder is for hookups, Rose is for real relationships. The brand should reflect this more "mature" approach to dating but still be "inviting". The brand needs to appeal to both genders and attract a wide audience. Project Requirements Please note: Any rose icon that is easily found online will be rejected. Please create something from scratch that is unique and creative. - Modern, clean, unique looking icon that can work with or without the "Rose" text. This icon will be used as the iOS / Android app icon so needs to stand out on the user home screen. The obvious idea is to use a Rose as the icon, please make it unique as there are many other Rose icons I can find online. This is the most important element of the project. - Icon with text logo. This would be the icon plus the "Rose" text either horizontal or vertical. Can also include the slogan "Find your person." - Color Pallete. I need a beautiful color palette. Im thinking the main color should be a nice red, then also need a few accent colors for other in-app features. - Font selection. I need one font for the logo text, then a main heading font for the app, as well as a secondary body font. Brand Guide Requirements - Logo - Color palette - Typography - Iconography - Imagery - Illustrations - Brand story (Our vision, our mission) Please keep in mind this is a fully digital brand so we do not need designs for any print material such as business cards or merchandise at this time. BRIEF UPDATES: Update #1: Please note that the icon is the most important element of this logo, I need an icon that works by itself without text, that will stand out as the App Icon on iPhone / Android home screen. I prefer icons with solid colors vs "lines" and are bold and unique. I am not looking for text only logos. Update #2: I have decided I want a "Rose" icon, please don't use a heart. Icon needs to be bold, work without text, and attract attention on iOS/Android home screen. Update #3: I have decided I want lowercase, bold font for the typography. I feel this creates the "welcoming" tone I am looking for.

I am open to using any colors but I am currently preferring a deeper red color for the main color. I like the color #c10016 but am open to other suggestions. Also, I need a color palette with a nice accent color that "pops", as well as a secondary color.
