The term granite kiss refers to stone-wall building in New England - stone walls of this type must be built carefully, by hand, and when a finger is caught between the stones, this is known as the "granite kiss." While we are not interested in emphasizing the gruesome, we do see this as emblematic of us: careful work, steady effort, a little danger, and a creative fire that happens between the seams. Elemental ideas resonate with us: fire, stone, hands, --- but we're open, and also value ideas that connect to cinema itself. We're leaning more towards a logo where strong symbolism takes precedence over text.
