Animal & Pet
We provide pet sitting, dog walking and pet taxi services. Pet owners are our target audience. 30-60 yrs of age, middle to upper class, white collar clientele. Semi urban (5 miles outside of Washington, DC). Positive reinforcement mindset.
Other color requirements
I prefer a shade or shades of blue (no cobalt) be involved, but I am open to other colors!! I do want the design to have multiple colors in it or at least multiple shades of the same color, I do not want one solid color through out. I do not want an all blue logo. Multiple colors or shades of the color you use would be great.
My goal is to have a design that translates onto t-shirts, as well as digital platforms. I want it to convey trust and knowledge. I can appreciate something that conveys we are pet care but isn't literal (pictures of pets), but if it does I like more modern interpretations of pets. Most logos in my industry have the cliche dog and cat (or paw) in the logo and feel cozy or homey. While I need my logo to feel warm, I want a MODERN version of this (hidden picture or modern silhouette), I want my logo to be different from the industry norm! DO Use more than 1 color or shades of 1 color Reference the pet sitting/dog walking industry without being literal IE dog and cat outline If you use a dog/cat picture make it modern! Refer to the examples in the inspiration and reference area of the brief Use a font on the heavier side Consider balancing the name and the focus on the icon part of the logo If using a leash, make the clasp interesting not just circles Consider something abstract and use negative space for the pet care reference Consider a design where the text is not the focus point. DON'T Use a thin line drawings Use a dog without a cat Use a paw print only Use wide kerning Use lightweight text Submit a design that looks like every other pet care logo, I want to stand out!
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo & brand guide starts at $429.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
