Genoa Food Co. is a restaurant and market that will be housed in a depression era historical building. This newly renovated space will have modern updates and blend old styles with new class and techniques. The location is in a small town suburb outside of a midsized city. We will have a restaurant featuring artisan pizzas, sandwiches and burgers in addition to higher end entrees and appetizers. The market side will supply locals with homemade sausages and fresh meat products as well as heatable meal options. We will be working with a food incubator for possible future packaging of products for larger sale opportunities. The historical building that once was a small hotel in a train town, has a 200 person catering space with original maple floors, iron trusses and shiplap vaulted roof.

Our operation will be run by a husband and wife team. He is a chef and food director with over 20 years of experience in cities such as San Francisco, San Jose (CA), Des Moines and Omaha. I am a college flute professor and our expectations are to open a music studio in the neighboring building (we own the entire complex). We hope to have logos for our sign, website, pamphlets, business cards, window decals, and future catering vehicle wraps and marketing with room to grow.
