EveH got their new logo & brand guide by running a design contest:
Health Insurance with a Cyberpunk Aesthetic

Medical & Pharmaceutical
This is the illustration component of a project for a marketing class! (We don't have to do the illustration ourselves, thank goodness, just the marketing plan.) At its core this is a brand identity for health insurance you can afford to use (+dental, vision, disability, etc.), target audience freelancers, independent contractors, and small entrepreneurs. But in more detail: The customers we're targeting aesthetically are often entrepreneurs who are proud members of the disability community, the sort of people who use the hashtag #cripplepunk, risk-takers who went out to start their own business or freelance in spite of pandemic, health difficulties, and the challenge of providing for their families; our voice is exuberantly transhumanist, accessible, playful, inviting. We want people who interact with us to feel optimistic about the future, strengthened, good about themselves. We think enabling you to do the things you want to do, with the health conditions you have, is more important than "fixing" you to some societal standard of "normal." (But of course we're going to pay for your medical care and assistive devices; that's what we're for. We do believe that anything your body doesn't let you do that you want it to is a problem worth solving.)
I’m mostly interested in combination logos that visually represent an elixir. Descriptive words: transhumanist, cyberpunk, futuristic, glamorous, playful, inviting, accessible (like William Gibson when he's optimistic instead of when he's dystopian) Aesthetic inspiration: Hugh Herr's prosthetic devices for mountain climbing and the Center for Extreme Bionics at MIT, Annie Elainey Segarra and the #cripplepunk hashtag and "The future is accessible," Tilly Lockey modeling with her futuristic hands, Shadowrun 3rd edition, Eclipse Phase. If you like gaming, think of the joy of picking your cyberlimbs and brain augmentations when you’re character building.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo & brand guide starts at $429.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their logo & brand guide.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
EveH collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Really understood the spirit of the brief, and showed it in all the logo concepts, and the final work is gorgeous. More patient than I deserved, especially with those file type issues. Also, I really love this font and these colors in the brand guide; like the logo, it really has the spirit of the brand down.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
