We need a great logo and brand guide for a new E-commerce-platform

Sitepress is an Ecommerce-platform which is well designed and simple to use. It is fully managed and based on Wordpress, with more flexibility and integration/customisation possibilities than similar solutions (such as Shopify).

Our main target is Norwegian shop-owners for now, but we chose a name and a .io domain (sitepress.io) to be able to target international customers later. Shopify.com is our inspiration to create our product (not necessary an inspiration when it comes to design), and also our competitor. Our E-commerce solution is based on Wordpress with WooCommerce, but with a much cleaner and user friendly dashboard, better onboarding process, better automation and integration for accounting systems, shipping and marketing, and we have removed the clutter than can create confusion inside Wordpress. It's a bit minimalistic yet more powerful - That could maybe be a part of the design too. In addition to provide the e-commerce platform for a monthly price, the customers also get access to our designers and developers (for an additional cost), which means that you could let Sitepress works as an agency for marketing and custom development too. PS - We have got several logo suggestions with a symbol of a pencil - This is not a direction for us. E-commerce is focus, not being able to edit (or what the pencil might symbolise). Also, as mentioned, we like minimalism, and all of the logo suggestions until now included a logo icon. If you visit our work-in-progress website sitepress.io you can see that our temporary logo has no icon. It could have an icon however, but if you add an icon, please keep it simple. Or integrate it with the text or similar. Normally we have worked directly with designers and this is our first project with 99designs, so I am not sure what to expect in this first round - But the project type includes a brand guide as well, and we would emphasise that as much as the logo. Usage of fonts and colors are very important when we will go to the next phase and create the website. I understand that we cannot expect a suggestion for complete brand guide in this first contest round, but at least provide some thought about fonts and colors if possible. Thank you.
