Design a trendy logo: Help caffeinate the south side of Chicago

Food & Drink
Our founder Ebony is a Brooklyn native, but long-time resident of Chicago’s culturally rich South Side. She has a vision of elevating South Side stories and culture through coffee. She plans to actualize her vision by creating a coffee bar that encourages community while also providing high quality caffeination to historically underserved South Side neighborhoods. We currently have a mobile espresso cart that helps us fulfill our mission by allowing us to serve our coffee and take the richness of the South Side to places that traditional coffee retailers don’t go. This way, we can reach a wide variety of consumers and settings– residents at local events, corporations hosting larger meetings, and private parties seeking high quality catering. Thus, our target audience is wide– we welcome coffee aficionados, but also people who are looking for community. We have long-term plans for a physical space where we will serve unique drinks and highlight the rich narrative of the south side, while creating a meeting space where people can come to find their tribe. We make a social impact by contributing to initiatives that help further elevate the south side by supporting local organizations (e.g. YWCA).
Our brand is unpretentious, unapologetic, and youthful/ vibrant, and we are looking for a new logo that will reflect this identity (we dont want your typical brown coffee identity). Things that make the southside unique: Greystone Houses, Black People, Shape of the map, train line Things that make our business unique: mobile cart, with long term plans of a physical space, we roast our own beans, unique flavored drinks
