We like the stilistic logotypes of companies such as Microsoft, Google, Apple, Spotify, Airbnb, Playboy where typography and icon are very "clean" and the icon is recognizable. We like the "stilistic" version. It should not feel cartoonish. We prefer it to be more abstract. See example logo where we experimented with the M and G in the same logo as a mountain. Could be an option. We're a Swedish company and in the earlier brief we had the idea to use a polar bear. Some designs have been to point, but some have just simply been too cartoonish.
