Oli Gardner got their new logo & brand guide by running a design contest:
Design a logo for a website for people aspiring to become a better public speaker
Check out Oli Gardner's Logo & brand guide contest…
Be The Keynote is a website where professionals of all kinds can learn how to become a public speaker. It's equally targeted to men and women. It could be workers in a corporate environment who want the confidence to present in a meeting, all the way up to the larger aspirational goal of delivering a commanding performance speaking on a big stage in front of thousands of people.
UPDATE: I like the design with the line “— BE THE —“ but I don’t want to see any more copies of that style. In order to be chosen your designs on the final day should be completely different to this style. Note, it should be the vertical design with the icon on top, but I’d like different conceptual presentations. The concept here is to empower people who are afraid of public speaking. It should feel aspirational, as it's the big goal of a speaker to eventually "be the keynote" speaker on stage at a large event. Main visual goal -------------------- The feeling I'm trying to create is what it would be like to stand on stage looking out at a crowd. As an abstract concept, it would be about sharing your voice. Physical objects such as microphones and podiums should be avoided. I'm looking for something a little more abstract. The name "Be The Keynote" should be included. The letters B and T and K should not be used in the design as an acronym. --- The typeface chosen should be available as a web font so I can use it for titling.
