Medical & Pharmaceutical
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist offering online counseling for English speakers living in Japan. I work with individuals, couples, and families (targeting adolescents and up). ***The name "Fellow Travelers" comes from Irvin Yalom who says that the relationship between therapist and client should not be hierarchical, but rather as fellow travelers on the same journey. This is also a play on words, because myself and my clients will largely be expatriates living abroad. This is the most important meaning to convey in the logo.****
Other color requirements
Cool tones preferred: blues, purples, greens, white, grey, natural/neutral colors, softer vs. bold, not too pastel (baby colors), harmony vs. high contrast. I would also like to see what the logo looks like in just white or black line drawing.
TL;DR- Two human figures on a journey required. Calm and inspiring. Japanese woodblock/seal style. Should evoke a sense of: Calm, Peace, Togetherness, Collaboration, Path/Journey, Side-by-side, Tranquility, Inspiration, Hope, Motion/action, Healing, Growth ***Note: Interaction and a sense of warmth are important to convey the therapeutic relationship. It should not be clear which is the therapist and which is the client (mutuality is important)*** Images: Path/road, Nature, trees, Two people going up a road or mountain together, two faces, two people reading a Compass/Map together, Hills/mountains. ***I live/work with clients in Japan. Incorporating elements of Japan such as cypress/matsu/bonsai, sakura, or Japanese maple trees, Mt.Fuji, Japanese garden elements, stone lanterns, pagoda etc. would be interesting to see*** Style: Line work, hand drawn, Woodblock/linocut, relief, Stamp, laser cutout, Use of negative space, Round/rounded, balance, maybe asymmetry for a sense of journey or movement?, an open/borderless horizontal image spanning the top of the business name also ok
