We are convinced: Humanity, the climate and especially cities need a sustainable mobility revolution. We need to rethink the way in which we commute and move around: More sustainable vehicles, less or no fuel-based vehicles, renewable energy, public transport. The startup is selling and renting out sustainable mobility solutions like cargo bikes, e-scooters, small electric vehicles new and used, as part of a small existing car dealership in the urban, hip area of Berlin Friedrichshain on a B2C but also on B2B level (see target groups below). It also offers public transport subscriptions, maintenance, mobility consultancy and expertise regarding charging solutions, solar panels and fleet management. On the other hand, after launching the pilot facility in the coming weeks, the next store will be with a car dealership which is much more suburban in Berlin-Buch and then we want to convince and consult many more existing car dealerships, property developers and city administration to support and join in the mobility revolution: To switch to more sustainable vehicles, to sell sustainable mobility.
The target groups are on the one hand for the pilot facility a predominantly urban, upper middle class, gentrified hipster/family/young couples/young professional target group, often with an academic background, with a sustainable attitude between 25 and 40. On the other hand, it also has to reach more conservative target groups like small fleet managers of local food delivery companies or mobile elderly care companies, but also morticians, handyman, property developers, city responsibles etc. This is a predominantly older target group which is often in their 40s and fifties and more male and less adacemic. So the logo needs to be relatively simple to appeal to a broad range of audiences. It might benefit from being iconic in some way, like the airbnb, Volkswagen, Facebook or Tesla logo. It should also be relatively simple because it might be put next to logos of other existing car dealerships. We are attaching twologos: 01_autohaus_golbeck.jpeg: The existing car dealership logo. It is much too old school and boring, but the new logo could pick up e.g. the color or maybe the triangle as an element, though especially about the triangle we are not sure. 2_MH_Logo.png An existing logo idea from a designer which we find ok but not iconic and interesting enough which is why we are coming to this website. The name of the startup is "Mobilitätshaus", but you could also write just MH or not in capitals so "mobilitätshaus" . Make sure to have the "ä" properly in the logo - not every font includes this special German letter. The translation is "mobility house", but don't use that English translation as we are just targeting the German market for now. We are considering to have some element which symbolises the mobility aspect: a wheel, the road, an arrow or just in general movement could work well.
