Business & Consulting
What I do: - I use data to help brands make their mark - Meaning, I use a research-based methodology to help companies develop brand positioning and messaging - My work focuses more on helping brands decide what to stand for (positioning) based on what is important to their customers and what is differentiating in the market... based on research and statistical analysis - At the same time I use creative ways (workshop exercises etc.) to engage my clients and develop the hypotheses we test - Also do typical market research related projects that aren't directly tied to positioning and messaging - I use a streamlined process that doesn’t break the bank to do research/ brand strategy work that is grounded in strong stats/math - Eventually I will expand into products (dashboards, e-books guides, etc.) Target Audience: - B2B audience, typically US-based - Cross-industry, including non-profits - Usually smaller organizations (or smaller brand/ marketing departments) - Marketing roles as a primary contact and also extending to other key decision-making roles. - I'm targeting marketers that don’t have the luxury of a large staff but want to use use research to drive brand strategy. They are energized to use data to help their company make solid brand decisions and are looking for a partner to help.
Other color requirements
I'm open to color ideas. Based on the descriptions above blue, aquas and greens make sense (knowledge, trust, calm, honesty, clarity, precision, growth, success). When we get to color palette I will need a system that can work well in data visualizations and I can explain more when we get to that round.
1. I deliver my work via ppt (or more dashboards in the future hopefully) so a system of primary and secondary colors that can easily be used in visualizations will be key. 2. I need to present a business-y and professional look but also convey friendly, personable, approachable. I like to think of myself as an energetic and creative person (albeit in other ways besides art...like creative and different research methods etc.), So not a stuffy b2b design but not too informal that a client of mine or their coworkers would not take it seriously. A little agency-y but not over the top. 3. I also like when a logo or brand design overall lends itself to a system that can be used in reports/ presentations. For example (prolly a bad example) if the logo had a rectangle in it the rectangle (or the sides, etc.) may become part of section break slides, or the rectangles might be one part of a colored system on slides to delineate information... stuff like that. Not totally critical and don’t want to make that a constraint that’s limiting but something to think abt. Thank you.

Safa's design was different than other and was the most appropriate for my strategic needs (professional, clean, etc.). She was also very responsive during our final coordination which was very much appreciated.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
