We provide technology to help facilitate funeral planning. Our largest target audience group is grieving men and women in their 50's and 60's. It's important for our brand to feel compassionate and soothing, without being too feminine or old school.
It's important that the site feel friendly and trustworthy, but much more like a modern tech company than a funeral company site. A lot of funeral sites feel pretty cheesy. I want to get away from cliche imagery. Our primary brand color is dark blue (194779) with teal (4EB2BF) as a secondary color. In case where black would be used (e.g. paragraph text), I prefer to use dark gray.
Elements to include in the landing page
- top nav - headline -subhead - CTA to call phone number - three text sections with drawn imagery (See text in wireframe)
I've included a wireframe of the design. I'm flexible moving stuff around a bit, but these are the general things I want included. I would only use a person in the hero image if the person looks like they're the person who is going to help you with planning. If a person is used, he/she should not be smiling, but also shouldn't look upset.
