giveabiglaugh got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
Whimsical Cartoon Site Needs A New Landing Page

Art & Design
We make hand drawn caricature from photos that people send us.
The website has a green and white color scheme that I would like to carry through to the landing page. We use red or gold for the buttons. However is there is a reason to change that I am open to it too. I would like to landing page to represent the lightheartedness of the product. It should also rely very heavily on the visuals of the past works that we have done as we have found that seeing examples of our work is the thing that customers are most interested in (http://givealaugh.com/gallery/gallery.html)
Elements to include in the landing page
There should be plenty of example of the drawings that we have done in the past. There should also be a button there that will allow a user to upload their photo, and a submit button that will then take them to the next page of the checkout process where we will ask them for additional instructions on how to draw the photo.
The audience for my product tends to skew slightly female and 35+
