David@oneplaneta got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
P2P Application Company with a One-for-One business model looking for a Hype-worthy landing page.
Check out David@oneplaneta's Landing page design contest…
Our peer to peer application will provide a fun, frictionless & safe travel experience by connecting like-minded travelers and local hosts. Our target audience: Women and LGBT Travelers and Tour Guides (millennials + Gen X) The landing page should serve as lead generation for both potential travelers and hosts, ideally we would like a space for copy to illustrate vaguely what we are about with two different call to actions that allow users to dictate wether they are travelers or hosts and share email and demographic information.
We would like this landing page to be clean and simple yet colorful. our company colors are as follows: #29b134, #ca270a, #81e8f6, #000000, #ffffff. Although it would be nice to have these colors in the landing page and we want it to be colorful, we don't want it to be too loud. Imagery of multiple people traveling together would be nice to have, preferably from a free resource like unsplash.com or any open source resource like it.
Elements to include in the landing page
There need to be two CTAs; one that invites people who travel to sign up to "travel with us" and another that invites tour guides and concierges to "guide travelers", bot of these CTAs should do the following. Both CTAs should have capture forms, the Traveler one should be capturing; First and Last name, Email, Gender (drop-downs that are LGBTQ friendly), Age, Geography, Sexual orientation, Favorite type of vacation activity and Dream destination. Some of these items should have a drop down mult. choice option that I can fulfill once the design is done (i.e. gender, sexual orientation, vacation activity). The guide side capture; First and Last name, Email, Gender (Same as above), Geography, Affiliations/ Accolades/ Partnerships, Specialization/ Type of tours, Max capacity/ Frequency of tours and languages spoken. Some of these items should have a drop down mult. choice option that I can fulfill once the design is done (i.e. gender, types of tours) There should be a Thank You prompt at the end of the form submission it should say something along the lines of "Youve signed up to be contacted once our beta program is available. in the mean time follow us on social". Copy to be determined, but please feel free to use this as FPO. We would also like to have social media buttons available for instagram, facebook and twitter. We would also want a followup email sent, but i am assuming this would be something we do with mail chimp.
This landing page is meant to create hype for our product while maintaining a bit of mystery. We may have a video playing to help illustrate the idea further, as you will see I have taken a quick crack at the design, the initial image might eventually be replaced by a video. We also want to add a few quick blurbs to let people know we are thinking about the following things; Trust & Safety, Peer Reviews & Ratings and Community. Additionally, we will be sharing a part of the companies proceeds to charitable causes. There needs to be a place where we are allowing people to opt. in to sharing their data so we are covered in California.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Landing page design starts at $349.
