Summary of the NFL #OffTheField project It's unfair to players and their fans when unfortunate behavior of the few drowns out the humanity and passions of the rest. As fans, celebrate our role as an important part of the team. Let's embrace it off the field as well. This is the coming together of players, fans, and the NFL to celebrate and support the passions and causes that matter to NFL athletes. Because only as a team can we all win. How the program Works NFL.com and media purchased on other publications show NFL players and their causes. Stark and human photos with short descriptions. Fans can join the NFL in supporting the causes which are important to the players. The NFL will match up to $X in donations from fans. Fans can also win jersey's or merchandise as a "thank you." When a fan chooses to join the cause which matters to the player. he or she makes a quick and easy small contribution using LilyDrive, then shares the player's story (and that he/she joined) with their network. LilyDrive handles all aspects of connecting the right non-profits to the players' causes, all the donations and tracking, and all the social sharing. Summary: This is a simple, social, and positive way for NFL (national football league) players, fans, and the NFL organization to come together around the positive and human side of the players that is not always represented in the game of football.
