payam.jirsa got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
Landing Page Design for Better Relationships in Weeks, Not Years!

Business & Consulting
First, we help couples "create better relationships in weeks, not years." This is our clarified message and our target audience are couples who want to improve their relationships without spending years and tens of thousands of dollars. Second, we also certify counselors/therapists in a new and intuitive model of relationship therapy that actually works. But the information on this will likely be built out in-depth on a secondary landing page. Our primary landing page is going to be for couples and direct clients.
Traditional therapy/counseling websites typically have an old-school institutional/university type look. Those that have been in relationship counseling know that it's a tough process, and that traditional therapy is unlikely to work. Those that have studied psychology know that it's an inherently complicated process. Because of this, we want a visual style and website that's simple, minimal, and stands against these traditions and stereotypes. We want vector illustrations that are flat, simple in design/color, and improve one's understanding of our message and concepts. I'll include some samples of vector illustrations I like in the attached files. But some of these visuals for the site might include ideas around the idea of a "roadmap." What we essentially have in our therapy model (CVFT) is a roadmap that answers "what a healthy relationship looks like." This is why our logo is a map pin with a heart inside. Please also remember that our couples are both straight and LGBTQ+, please do not submit designs with traditional gender stereotypes in color or graphic design. Instead, design using colors/icons/vector graphics that are neutral. Or if you're going to show a male/female couple in one graphic, make another graphic more neutral or show a female/female couple. Our promise is a simple and intuitive approach to relationship therapy, we want the website to mirror that.
Elements to include in the landing page

PRIMARY CTA Our clarified message is "better relationships in weeks, not years" and our primary CTA is to get those looking for relationship coaching (couples) to sign up for a 15-min Consultation (via website Calendly integration), secondary objective is to capture their email for funnel conversion. Currently, we do not need a login or secondary nav bar for guests/registered users. For now, we're just focusing on presenting our service, scheduling consults, and email sign-ups. Based on your designs, we'll likely create a secondary landing page designed for coaches/therapists who want to certify in our model of therapy. But for now, let's focus on couples. MOCKUP + NOTES I'm by no means a professional designer (as you will see). But to help, I thought I would throw together a little mockup of our website landing page. I'll also be attaching a brand/style guide that has our logo, colors, and our primary font (Montserrat). I'm not married to anything you see in that mockup! I expect major changes. Use the mockup simply to for guidance on the order or presentation, content, and important messaging. Design is totally up to you! WHAT THE DESIGN SHOULD COMMUNICATE Think of the end-user. We're working with couples with relationships that are often in distress. We're also working with therapists that help relationships in distress. These are people who are already dealing with too much complexity in their lives. We want the website to be the opposite, we want it to convey simplicity, warmth, and trust. Simplicity and minimalism are big! My mockup is BUSY, please make it simple and minimal. DESIGN GUIDANCE I'd love for you to incorporate our logo, colors, and primary font as you see fit. But beyond that, it's completely up to you. As I mentioned, I don't want or expect you to submit designs that look anything like my sample mockup. I'd also like to avoid stock photographs and instead lean toward simple/minimal vector illustrations that carry each point/message. I like vector illustrations that are simple. I.E. flat designs with simple on-brand colors. I'm not a big fan of overly detailed vector illustrations. For icons/infographics that highlight important statistics and points, again I'm more a fan of minimal design. Simple vector illustrations, or minimalistic icons. I'll attach a few examples in the attachments. Also please remember, our clients are straight and LGBTQ+, please avoid using stereotypical colors/graphics/designs that might only imply male/female relationships. Instead, design using colors/icons/vector graphics that are sex and gender-neutral. Here are some other things I'd like to see: 1. Simplify the Design - To me, my sample mockup feels overly complicated. Feel free to simplify the information, background colors, and add spacing to be more approachable. If you want to use the light white color for the entire page while using our red/blue for accents, go for it! Counseling/therapy is inherently intimidating, I want the website to be the opposite. 2. Create Unique Visuals (Vector/Infographics) - I put in some crappy visuals/icons to support our data/points, but I'd love to see you spice these up. We have tons of crazy interesting stats when it comes to relationships, there's a lot of room for creativity here with unique vector-based visuals and infographics. Our entire therapy model is a "roadmap" to healthy relationships, hence the map/pin logo, so this would be a great visual/aesthetic to your vector illustrations/icons. 3. Improve the Typography - Our parent company uses Montserrat, which is why I'd love for it to be included. But feel free to modify the typography, especially with subheader/copy. I feel like it needs a lot of work in terms of spacing/typography to get to a more polished feel. Thank you!
