Jdeleo got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
Help Top Shelf Electric Corp. with a new landing page
Check out Jdeleo's Landing page design contest…
We are an electrical contracting firm, so our website gives potential customers information about our capabilities/project history/employees etc.
we want to use a aerial photo of NY and northern NJ (see attached photo) either this one of something very similar to this one. Also see the similar landing page from turner construction called Turner City. We like this a lot but it doesn't have to be as involved as theirs
Elements to include in the landing page
We are looking for a new portfolio page for our website. The idea we have is to have an aerial photo of the NY/ Northern NJ similar to the one attached below. laid over the photo will be dots or some other shape (ie. little building icon) in locations somewhat near where our projects are located. Then when you scroll over the icon a small pop up window comes up with a photo of the project with a small description of that project. also in the pop up will be a "see more" link that would go to the dedicated page for that project. We have something currently like that, just much more simpler, where you go to our portfolio page there is a grid of photos of our current projects and then you can click on the photo to go to the specific project page.
if you have any questions about what we are looking for feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org ALSO... if you have any ideas or suggestions that you feel could make our idea any better please let us know we are open to suggestions.
