BrokerNotes helps traders find a broker to trade forex, stocks & crypto online.
Keep the branding / colours of the current site but make it a lot cleaner / slicker.
Elements to include in the landing page
## This project is just to redesign the navigation menu. You don't need to design an entire landing page ## The ve navigation bar redesign should be clean, intuitive and help traders find a broker easier than the current nav. It should also... - Instead of clicking 'Try our matching tool' and being redirected to the tool on the homepage, we'd like to change this to something like 'See my top brokers' which when clicked drops down a full-width sub menu or overlay with a multi-step 'wizard' that asks a series of questions (ideally using nice clickable icons) to help them find the right broker. There could be a panel of broker logos and as they answer more questions the logos grey out. Similar to this: https://www.thezebra.com/z/questions/start/ but in the menu or as a full page overlay/modal. Here's a kind of similar example in this niche: brokerchooser.com/questionnaire/starter - as this is an affiliate site, when they reach their top two it should have buttons to click out to those two brokers or compare them head to head (we have lots of head-to-head comparison pages like https://brokernotes.co/etx-capital-vs-avatrade/) - It must be SEO friendly and therefore keep a lot of internal navigation links to existing content so that Google can find those pages (and also make it easy for users to find the content using the nav). We currently group this by instrument, features, reviews, and a search bar for finding head-to-head comparisons but this is open to ideas as to how we could improve this. One idea is to simplify the multiple dropdowns into one big full width one (attached a very rough diagram illustrating this) and combine the current 'compare brokers head to head' search bar with the standard search bar with some kind of prompt.
This navigation must work across a range of different page templates including: - Head to head pages (https://brokernotes.co/etx-capital-vs-avatrade/) - Review pages (https://brokernotes.co/avatrade-review/) - Comparison pages (https://brokernotes.co/compare-forex-brokers/major-pairs/eur-usd/) - Home page (https://brokernotes.co) - Blog posts (https://brokernotes.co/lcg-trader-platform-overview/) Therefore it must work in a fairly universal way. We can of course make changes to these templates to make them fit your design but ideally nothing too major. The multi-step form wizard thing will likely have 4-5 questions/steps with a variety of form UI fields (mostly clickable images / buttons, checkboxes etc) so that it's very point and click and no annoying fields like dropdowns etc. If you can show various different steps with different UI and how the side panel with logos would change as you answered more questions that'd be useful.
