Issue Fixers got their new landing page design by running a design contest:
CityGide landing page to recruit private guides to show off their city
Check out Issue Fixers's Landing page design contest…
Travel & Hotel
The website is a platform to connect travelers with private guides to show off their city. This will not be any ordinary tour it will be a customized tour based on client preferences by locals. The Gides will speak multiple languages and will have cars to transport guests around.
The landing page will eventually contain a video that will explain the premise of the app and recruit Gides to sign up. It will be educational based and invoke excitement for Gides to "Show off their City".
Elements to include in the landing page
Email capture form for people who want to be guides. Would ask for name, email, city, length they have lived in that city, fluent languages that they speak. Content is being developed and can be added at a later date but, will include: Sign up to be a private gide for your city. Show travelers your favorite local hotspots. Make them feel welcome and show them the good time you would want a best friend visiting the city to see. Transport guests around with your own car. Speak to them in their native language. Give other Gides tours to share ideas and build out your potential itinerary for visiting clients.
The landing page will have the video we are creating in the center and the rest will basically be an email prompt to sign up as a guide. We would like to have space to put in some text to highlight the value points of the video in order get people to sign up.

My designer did an awesome job of taking my vision and bringing it to life... reflected in several different designs that conceptually I thought would be the one. He had absolutely no push back on changing direction and we eventually came upon a design concept that works for our brand!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
