susanne.anker needed a new infographic design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 17 designs submitted by 7 freelance designers.
FIEGE Logistik Stiftung & Co. KG
The infographic should represent the vision of the FIEGE Group. The aim is to communicate the vision statement internally and externally by the graphic.
The FIEGE vision: "Together with our customers we shape markets by innovating logistics. We are the best place to work. We are family."
The graphic should contain the short version our vision.
Especially the content message should be presented in the graphic.

The explanation of our vision - what does it mean:
"Together with our customers...":
- The customer is in the center of all our activities. All of our efforts are targeted towards a satisfied customer.
- We understand our customers‘ needs early on and proactively develop tailored solutions.
- We build long-term and close relationships with our customers.
"...we shape markets by innovating logistics.":
- Fiege is the innovative pioneer among the logistics providers.
- We are aware of our environment and anticipate trends early. This way, we are one step ahead.
- Based on these trends, we build new and innovative products and solutions that are best-in-class.
- Through this approach we shape the markets and leave a strong footprint.
"We are the best place to work.":
- Overcoming human resource and talent scarcity is a critical success factor in logistics.
- We need to be the best place to work in order to have & attract the best people.
- Our people find a meaning in what they do. They are offered opportunities for personal development that are tailored to their qualifications and requirements.
- Our people are given the chance to contribute significantly to FIEGE’s success. They take over responsibility.
- It’s more than just the salary that matters.
"We are family.":
- As a family-owned business, we set great store by „living“ and fostering a family culture
- By acting as a family (both internally and externally), we possess a competitive advantage that is hard/impossible to imitate
- Internally, this includes direct communication and short ways of communication, as well as a corporate culture that is characterized by trust, friendship, openness and integrity.
- Externally, we’re keen to build close relationships with all business partners. Again, these relationships are trustful, open and honest.
We are not looking for a classic representation of our vision (e.g. a road, the sun , a sailboat, binoculars), but rather for new modern representations that reflect the contents of the vision statement.
We think there are two main options: Visualizing the different parts of the statement or an expressive graphic which shows the content of our vision.
But we are also open for further ideas!
The vision is only the first part of our overall communication of the FIEGE strategy. Afterwards we would like to visualize our mission and our four strategic priorities with the designer of the winning graphic and finally combine all three elements (vision, mission, priorities) to an integrated composition.
