Data to include in the infographic
We are going to be making website design revamp and looking for a designer who has good experience with illustrator and user experience. Please check our website for all the services (keep in mind, we are going to revamp the entire website, attached a wireframes 1. Header/Hero image, (info graphic cartoon type image WHICH IS YOUR JOB) 2. Inner Page of website (Rough idea on how we will design it) 3. Slightly advanced logo we'll probably use. 1. HERO IMAGE - We are looking to get like a HERO image designed for the website as we are going through some design changes and updates. The HERO image will display both a house and a (business/building), and have detailed around the house and building with speech bubbles or annotations for the products and services we offer (see design uploaded). I would also like you to incorporate the header (new logo (placeholder), and menu/phone number) on the design, so it looks flowing and borderless around the page. Creating a menu, with About, Services, Contact & PH: 1300 788 987. Please make sure, its going to fit width of most modern monitor sizes for good viewing. Ultimately the functionality, will be the user will click on the image (annotations or speech bubbles) for navigation purposes, because visually seeing the certain aspects of our services/products and being able to click them is so much more fun, so I thought to give this concept a go. In terms on style of drawing, I've found these types to be somewhat interesting, as looking for a clean, not too many lines. Also I think we should have a sky and sun perhaps behind the houses, with grass etc. Also we really need to make sure we can identify each service/product type. BUT, I would rather keep it very neat and simplistic as possible, so we don't confuse customers. GRAPHIC STYLES: http://i.imgur.com/QgjYsD3.png http://i.imgur.com/hACpH8W.png http://i.imgur.com/umkKqx5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mrf63gn.png The reason I don't like too many lines, is because we are going to have clickable text within the speech bubbles, so I need users to be able to identify each service/product point on the image and make them highly detailed. Services to detail around the HERO image, with related image/item desc. From left to right, as per the image attached. Residential: a) Phone Line Installation (img: Comms Box on side of house) b) Central Splitter Installation (img: Box with one line in, multiple out) c) Data Cabling Installation (img: Data point on wall, just below a gamers computer, in window) d) Wifi Access Point Installation - (img: WIFI access point on roof, beaming down signals) e) Phone Line Repairs - (img: Wall socket/phone point with a cut/cross or spanner next to it, to show its broken) f) ADSL or Internet Repairs - (img: Through window, showing an WIFI modem on computer desk) Business: a) VoIP Phone Systems - (img: Handsets on a desk) b) Network Installation - (img: Switch/ Comms Rack with some cabling dispersing from it, e.g. Cat6 data cables) c) MDF Jumpering - (img: Telephone junction box, with technician fixing) If you can incorporate all custom drawings and a nice clean, and clear, bright layout would be great. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS. Your job is to provide the HERO + basic header part, down to the part on the attached image that says 1,2,3. This ill get a web dev to take over. Anyway, I am really excited to see what you can do.
1. For the Tooltip/Annotations, please use a Google friendly Font, as I'll make that text on the website. 2. Maybe a TIP: In terms of displaying some of the services, you might want to say, make the walls x-ray vision, so the user can see the actual, switch, wall socket, modem and things, inside the building/home? 3. There is a 2 drop downs dropdown on the hero image, please feel free to place anywhere you feel fit, I don't want it cramped up, and user needs to be able to clearly see it for action. Ultimately, whether customers click on the service dropdown, or annotations, it will land them on the same page.
