I.macaskill got their new infographic by running a design contest:
Help SuperReading Ltd with a new infographic
Check out I.macaskill's Infographic contest…
Story to tell in the infographic
Learning to read words in group rather than one are a time along the line and you'll doubling your reading speed, increase your ability to concentrate, reducing the noise of distraction and boasting your confidance as you overcome the one barrier thats hindered your learning and finally be able to complete your university reading lists. SuperReading will teach you how to read differently.
Data to include in the infographic
https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0Ujhed5pkC2a1l5eTRJVzU3QzA/edit?usp=sharing This document is a summary of a 21 page academic study, I would like to see all of the facts and figures grouped together into a flow with emphasis on the increase in Reading Effectivness score and the doubling of reading speed in a beautiful "more interesting than a"- bar chart way.
Elements to include in the infographic
The screenshot below is an example of an Eye Hop exercise file https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0Ujhed5pkC2YlVDVDJNNWhvS2c/edit?usp=sharing I would like to see included an image of a student practising the Eye-Hop on their iPad, the student will have the first fingure of their right hand pointing just below one of the groups of two words. SuperReading works by teaching students to read groups of words rather than one word at a time and they are incuraged to use their fingure and hop through texts as it reduces eye strain and increases concentration. You could feature the text to be read in Eye-Hop format to demo the effect of this type of formatting upon the viewers ability to read it.
Please use simple colour contrasts, I would like for you to include the attached logo of our brand as a small graphic in the bottom corner of the image and the URL: www.superreading.co.uk.
