Antonio.Willybiro got their new infographic by running a design contest:
Executive view of Systems & Tools Connectivity
Check out Antonio.Willybiro's Infographic contest…
Story to tell in the infographic
We need a standard way of presenting systems and tools connectivity to our executive board. As of now, these are in various shape and forms depending on the team and the country who produce the diagrams. This project should deliver two things: 1. Connectivity diagrams for each of the attached examples (france, Belgium, india, Germany, Italy, Poland) 2. A Guideline for people in the organisation to produce their own diagrams in line with this defined styling guide defined.
Data to include in the infographic
The diagrams will be exposed to company senior executives thus they should be clear, stylish and easy to understand. Visual clue to be represented in the design: • System/Tool type (visual clue): o In-house development o 3rd party o Excel o Hybrid tool: 3rd party tool with custom development o Regional/global o Future system (no yet implemented or in progress) • System/Tool Status (visual clue): o Appropriate and Fully deployed (to all users) o Appropriate but not fully deployed o Not appropriate (features shortfall) o No system available • Connection (data exchange) - Arrows: o One way data flow o Two ways data flow o Manual data flow (manual input) – 1 way o Manual data flow (manual input) – 2 ways • Visual focus (visual clue): the diagram is focused on a specific system. That system is in focus whereas systems not directly connecting to the in-focus system less visual weight (e.g. blurred partially, greyed, smaller) • Attributes - Text o System name o Cost Indicator. E.g. ($, $$, $$$, $$$$, $$$$$) o # of users
